The Hindu religious festival Holi is all about colour, but it’s also an excuse to eat foods that awaken the senses and keep your spirits high.
Although traditional Holi delicacies vary from region to region and family to family, we’ve taken tradition into account and added the rainbow as inspiration. We found this amazing website and we’ve chosen to try out the following delicious recipes. The Ian Snow official tasters will be chomping at the bit to let you know how it tastes, plus how easy it is to make as our varying culinary skills range on the scale from Masterchef to Major Disaster!
There are some brilliant suggestions on this website and great ideas for getting healthy food into your kids, as well as yourselves,  so get out, throw brightly coloured powder everywhere (for a DIY eco-friendly easy make see our Holi Powder Make, and enjoy whilst feasting on nature’s rainbow.
Let us know if you tried any of the recipes and send us pics! Here are the recipes we tried:
Hara Masala Kebab Recipe – it was full of colour, lots of green and extremely tasty, they were in a burger like shape, we enjoyed them with a brown bread roll and pomegranate relish.
